The Dell Guy, from Kashmir <3

Headphones weren’t working from a long time. And, it was my first laptop purchase from Nehru Place, Delhi. After a lot of discussions with everyone in my circle, I finally decided to go for DELL. I always wished to buy a laptop, but had issues with funds and therefore took some time to make a purchase.

On 11th June 2018, I finally bought a laptop after 7 years of struggle with my desktop. I watched a beautiful movie while travelling to Kolkata. And, that’s the last time when my headphone worked. I came back to Delhi after a wonderful holiday from Kolkata and Jamshedpur. Of course, this “headphone” matter was always in my mind. I was just not getting the right time to give a call to the service center.

Its Saturday i.e. 14th July 2018. I gave a call to DELL to fix my headphone issue. A guy named Mr. Mohammad Bhatt picked my call and listened to the problem patiently. He did everything what was required to fix the error. While the restart/shut down process was going on, we started talking about the recent blockbaster i.e. Sanju. And, I told him why I want to watch/and in the same time why I don’t want to watch the film.

He told me that he is from Kashmir. Every Kashmiri I meet, I always ask this question. What Kashmiri people want? Do they want to be with India or Pakistan? He said, Ma’am, they want to be free. We also discussed on the recent Alia Bhatt hit RAAZI. He said that you must watch this movie as it’s based on a true story.

I asked him that whether the Indian soldiers misbehave with Kashmiris. He said it’s 99% true. Soldiers sometimes even ask Kashmiris to take off their clothes in the street if they have 1% doubt. And, this is the story of every Kashmiri. I always wanted to visit Kashmir, but never planned the trip due to security and safety concern.

He told me, “There are very few places in Kashmir which are a little disturbed, but it’s very safe”. Kashmiris love the tourists, and they take care of them in the best way.

The reason why I am writing this blog is because I would like to thank you technology as it helps me connect to some wonderful people from all around the world. Also, I would like to highlight on the power of emotion to drive customer loyalty. I would always recommend DELL to all my friends and family members because they have exceptional customer service.
